INFORMATION

Providing art direction and retouching support for ESPN: The Magazine’s annual Body Issue, I worked on a feature highlighting softball pro Lauren Chamberlain. The project celebrated her athleticism and achievements, with the shoot taking place in Oklahoma, where she excelled during her college career.

I provided art direction on set, collaborating with photographers and production teams to ensure the visuals captured Chamberlain’s strength and presence. The focus was on creating images that honored her accomplishments while aligning with the aesthetic of the Body Issue.

In post-production, I handled retouching to refine the imagery, maintaining a balance between authenticity and polish. The goal was to emphasize the athlete’s form and power while preserving the natural feel of the photography.

The final images celebrated Chamberlain’s dominance in the sport and were featured as part of a larger series showcasing elite athletes. This project reflected the intersection of sports, artistry, and storytelling.
